It is not a common slang or anything, I mean it is not a collocation or anything like that... anyhow, the key is brag... brag is to show-off, by saying I don´t mean to brag the person is saying "I am not trying to be presumtuous"

The take a bow thing is already answered, check the previous page... about intertwined... first, it would be the adjective (ed). It is to say for example when two roads or paths cross, it is kind of link, WHEN YOU PUT YOUR HANDS TOGETHER IN A WAY THAT YOUR FINGERS INTERTWINE ( the verb) or your fingers are INTERTWINED (the adjective)... To make it absolutely clear I will say it in Spanish... entrelazados
THANK u teacher!!

"To get tangled up" is not a collocation or a common phrase so next time remember that TO GET plus Adjective is just a common structure which will lead you to just go to the dictionary and look for TANGLE (the verb) or TANGLED (the adjective).
TANGLE UP- To mix together or intertwine in a confused mass; snarl... (like a cord or wire ya know?... so If you get tangled up it would be like saying you are all confused, a mess, right?)
"Strung along"... a phrasal verb with several definitions, strung being the past of string, of course...
string along (Informal)
1. To go along with something; agree.
2. To keep (someone) waiting or in a state of uncertainty.
3. To fool, cheat, or deceive.

Bollocks, it is a brit expression for testicles, you say it instead of nonsense!
Bugger, it is also brit for fuck, and similar expressions, I mean you can use bugger to say tons of things (as a cursing word I mean, that´s why I think it would be like fuck.)
No to be confused with America´s word booger which means moco.
Cozy- of a room like acogedor and of someone- friendly
Schnook- (first you have to know that this is yiddish, yiddish is a dialect... High German including some Hebrew and other words; spoken in Europe as a vernacular by many Jews; written in the Hebrew script) now, the word means A stupid or easily victimized person; a dupe.
Feisty- quarrelsome
Sassy- Has several definitions
1. Rude and disrespectful; impudent.
2. Lively and spirited; jaunty.
3. Stylish; chic: a sassy little hat.
NOW... NEXT TIME GO AND FIND PHRASES AND COLLOCATIONS THAT ARE REEEEEALLY DIFFICULT AND THAT YOU CAN´T FIND FOR YOURSELF, BECAUSE THIS WAS JUST A "I don´t want to try the dictionary first"
